We had a wonderful 2 weeks with our family at Matteo's place, surrounded by stunning landscapes of rolling hills, cypress trees, and wildlife. The two cats and the dog, the fireflies in the evening and birds singing, walking through the beautiful gardens and fruit trees, and the scent of the linden trees in the breeze was quite the experience. Although the apartment is part of a larger house and with one other neighbour, it felt secluded and we were never disturbed. The pool area was also comfortable and peaceful, with a very good size swimming pool which was most welcome in the heat. Matteo's place is also perfectly located for day trips around the surrounding area. We had hired cars and visited Sienna, San Gimmignano, Florence, Lucca and Pisa during our stay. Matteo is a very welcoming and responsive host, providing useful tips and advice, going out of his way to make our stay comfortable and promptly dealing with some minor issues we had during our stay.

Matteo was extremely helpful and friendly. His home was lovely and exactly what was described and more! We got a truly Tuscan style farmhouse and the views were fantastic. Matteo's mother was extremely friendly and even baked us a cake which she gave to us when we arrived. It was delicious and left us with a warm impression of the generious hospitality of the locals. We had a great holiday and staying here was a big part of that. It was roughly 1 hour drive from most of the popular towns which is something to consider for people who are maybe not so keen to drive too much. For us it was fine and still managed to see and do a lot in our one week here. It was great to be able to call this place our "home" for one week. Thank you!!

This Farmhouse is lovely. The experience starts with the host who is willing to help with reservations and suggest activities in the area (wineries, picnic locations, attractions). Matteo, thank you! The house itself is very spacious and wonderfully appointed. The pool area is lovely and cleaned daily. Apricot and cherry trees lined the property and we were told to help ourselves. It was a true pleasure and we enjoyed our five night stay. Matteo, thank you for everything.

A lovely traditional farmhouse in the middle of fields and fruit trees - with all that is needed for a week truly immersed in the gorgeous countryside tuscany. A beautiful view of the hills and your private pool makes the space even more magical. The house is well equipped, with a small town 6 mins drive away with a small supermarket, or a larger town, chiusdino, 10 minutes drive on picturesque roads that also has great restaurants. We more than suggest staying here, its the true tuscan hills experience, perfect in a group of friends but also fabulous for a family with kids (we have a 2 yr old) thanks to the field walks, pool and farm life to experience.

This is an amazing farm house. We had the most peaceful stay here. This very comfortable house and the huge backyard are exactly as shown in the pictures. Private Pool is incredible. Matteo is awesome; he was very keen to help, was very attentive and provided us with the most beautiful and great restaurants suggestions located in a radius of 20mins from the property (Trattoria La Fornace, Pizzeria La Pergola, the restaurant at Abazzia di San Galgano our favorites). Whilst the house does not have air conditioning, the high ceilings and fresh air coming into the house after sundown makes the trick; if not enough a standing fan is more than enough. We did not need A/C at all and we stayed in a very hot summer!! Hard to find something to improve, only the wifi: it works great (you can even get signal in the pool!) but it does not reach the back bedrooms; this is something that Matteo already is fixing by placing a repeater. All in all, we strongly recommend this property with a great host like Matteo.

The house of Matteo is just wonderful. It is spacious, even nicer than on the photos! Matteo is a wonderful host. He is very communicative and has a lot of nice suggestions to do and go in the surroundings. He makes you feel very welcome, which helps to get in your holiday mood right away. The welcoming food package is delicious (and Anna even made us a tasty cake)!! The swimming pool, and the view from it are just beautiful. You’ll love this stay in the Tuscany country side if tranquility is what you’re looking for. House is perfect for 7 people, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Comfy and clean. House gets warm (not strange since we had a week of >35°C) , but opening the windows at night and with some fans it’s doable. Kitchen is a little out dated and basic, though perfect for some simple cooking. Enough restaurants in the neighborhood (20 min drive radius) to solve this. The swimming pool is amazing. Big, clean, refreshing and with some comfortable chairs to lounge around the pool. Views around the country side while swimming and sunbathing are super. And last the host Matteo is a star. Super friendly, easy communication and always willing to help. Grazie mille.

We'd wholeheartedly recommend this stay to anyone. You will be well taken care of with guides & suggestions re: food and activities from the host. It was cool to be near a working farm, really making this true agro-tourism. The pool is as stunning as it looks in photos and the house is a gorgeous mix of historic and modern, with plenty of space to cook, eat, and relax. It's worth going "off the beaten path" for this Tuscan gem and our day trips into other cities were enjoyable (a rental car is almost necessary for this stay). Matteo is a very high quality and friendly host!
