Set in a enchanting green area, this nicely restored independent barn is surrounded by its own private large fenced garden.
This ground floor house (55 sqm) consists of a living room with fireplace and kitchen corner; few steps from the living lead to one double bedroom, one single bedroom and one shower bathroom.
The bedrooms are particularly attractive, furnished with wrought iron beds and the coloured walls give a sense of warmth and comfort.
This holiday cottage offers comfortable accommodation for 3 people in a very peaceful location . The interior retains many original features as beamed ceilings and cotto floor and it’s nicely furnished in typical Tuscan style.
There are two terraces, one sunny , one shaded by a vine and furnished with table, chairs and BBQ, perfect place for al fresco meals or to relax.
This is an excellent choice for a relaxing break in any season, whether to visit Siena or other beautiful historic centres in the area.

Tradition and modernity
Verzure is an ancient "barn" which has undergone a careful restoration that lasted several years. The integrity of the barn has been maintained with the collection of magnificent stones and rocks from the nearby stream (just like 400 years ago). The house is richly decorated in a rustic Tuscan style and designed to offer both the comforts of modern life and the warm hospitality of a medieval home.
You will find authentic details throughout the interior, wood beamed ceilings and beautiful fabrics and furnishings. The house has 1 double bedroom and a bathroom. The bed is rustic and offers the best comfort.
Next to the house there is a large private park of about 80 hectares completely fenced and available for guests to walk through. The park has several paths and roads, with some viewpoints and picnic areas. The house is located within an organic agricultural context, where our family has been producing cereals, wood, hay for decades, together with hare and other animal farms.
All our guests leave with a fond memory of the antiquity, serenity, beauty and simple and authentic style of the Verzure.

Where is located Verzure?
Next to a Medieval Town
The village is like an extended family where everyone knows and helps each other. The restaurants in Montalcinello, Chiusdino and Radicondoli are famous and people from all over Tuscany come here to dine out (so we recommend booking in advance).
The well-known five-star resort of Castello di Casole (voted No. 1 Resort in Europe by Travel and Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler) and the beautiful 5-star Borgo Santo Pietro estate with the Michelin Meo Modo guide are just a 15-minute drive from the home.
We recommend having a car. The house is 10 minutes drive from the famous Abbey of San Galgano and 35 minutes drive from Siena, Volterra, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and Chianti and 1 hour drive from Florence, Punta Ala or Grosseto.
