The Pearls of Val d’Elsa
One day itinerary to discover historical and fascinating places but also wild and authentic places in the heart of Tuscany, the val d’Esla.
It is a simple and very interesting itinerary with the possibility of a refreshing bath in the river.

The first obligatory stop is to stop at Bar La Speranza to have a nice Italian breakfast coffee, croissant with cream and orange juice.
The itinerary then continues towards Monteriggioni, a small medieval castle town, very nice to visit.
Continuing the stages of the itinerary we take a break to buy typical Tuscan products at the Salcis shop, which remains practically on the road.
We can decide to have lunch directly at Salcis, or continue for a few kilometers and have an American lunch with the best hamburgers in Tuscany, in the “da Poldo” sandwich shop.
The next stage includes a wild and fascinating destination at the Val d’Elsa River Park, where the crystalline and blue water reflects the unspoiled nature.
Possibility of a refreshing bath along the river. There are various picnic or relaxation areas.
